Design

Because you'll work closely together for a period of time, it's essential that you're comfortable with your choice of designer.

There are two reasons to select a particular designer:  either you like her style or you want her help to develop your style.

Rebecca Ewing focuses on discovering your personal style. your home or workspace should represent your essence - an expression of you - never to be recognized as a "Rebecca Ewing design." Whether you're drawn to a period style, like mid-20th century modern, or dabbling in eclectic styles from varied sources, Rebecca brings all your options into play to create an environment that suits you -- and your family.

Rebecca will find the right chairs for that 6'5" ball player and the 5'1" grandmother. She'll give you a living room you're proud of that your toddler can play in. Rebecca will work to satisfy everyone's needs, and unify the divergent tastes.

If you are considering working with Rebecca - here's what you can expect:

Come to your first meeting armed with magazines or photos or samples of what you like and don't like.  This preparation alone can save you a few hundred dollars on a large project, because it hastens the process of discovering who you are and what makes you happy.

Rebecca will come back with samples, catalogs, sketches, and other ways of helping you decide what will be perfect for your project.

After discussion, you'll work with Rebecca to develop the plan of implementation. Depending on what you want, Rebecca can be involved from the very beginning to the very end of the project. For some projects, you’ll only need her at the beginning to help with decisions, then you’ll oversee the implementation yourself.  Rebecca's level of involvement is completely up to you.
